How does one analyze the cooking of Jollof rice? This West African dish sent emotions flying high in the first workshop on experience capitalization in Accra, Ghana.
CTA was contacted by representatives of IFAD's East and Southern Africa division, interested in a capitalization exercise that would help them describe and analyse the activities and results of the Public, Private, Producer Partnerships (4Ps) in the value chain development projects in the region.
The “Capitalization of Experiences for Greater Impact in Rural Development” project is being implemented in different parts of the world by CTA, in collaboration with FAO and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and with financial support from IFAD. It started in April 2016 and will last for three years.
IFAD's East and Southern Africa Division asked ILEIA to support its regional knowledge management strategies by enhancing and supporting the documentation skills of IFAD project and government staff.
