How does one analyze the cooking of Jollof rice? This West African dish sent emotions flying high in the first workshop on experience capitalization in Accra, Ghana.
The “Capitalization of Experiences for Greater Impact in Rural Development” project is being implemented by CTA, in collaboration with FAO and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and with financial support from IFAD.
A capitalization process started with representatives of some of the member organizations of the East Africa Farmers Federation. The first workshop was in November, 2016, the second in March 2017.
CTA launched a call for grant proposals in 2014 to accelerate the process of adoption of ICTs for agriculture within selected agricultural value chains and policy processes. Now it is interested in communicating the results.
